about
I composed the first reel in memory of my grandfather John Meehan. Only for him I would not be playing music. He passed on his love of music to me. He was very fond of tunes in G minor so I thought it fitting to write a reel in that key and name it after the flat cap he used to wear.
Often writing a tune is like going astray in a tune you know. So, I try my best to write tunes that I don’t know.

Hello Aidan, I purchased your new album in April and have enjoyed playing the download. When the it arrived in the post there was no physical CD inside the case. I have been promised a replacement but have still not received anything. I only need the CD - I have the case. Obviously I can create a CD from the download, but that’s not the point. Hope you can help.
Best wishes, Martin D’Arcy
